Khadi and Village Industries products from different states of the country will be available in the same premises from Friday in Khadi Utsav
Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board, which comes under the Cottage and Village Industries Department, is organizing Khadi Utsav-2024 from 27 September to 8 October in Bhopal Haat. Preparations have been completed by the board for this 12-day festival. Khadi and Village Industries products from different states of the country will be easily available in the same premises in Khadi Utsav. Along with this, various cultural programs will also be organized every day.
It is noteworthy that Madhya Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board is organizing Khadi Utsav in Bhopal Haat premises on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and under Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh with the aim of providing sustainable employment to the weavers and other artisans working in the rural areas in the field of Khadi and Village Industries. About 75 to 80 state and national level units working in the field of Khadi and Village Industries will participate in the Khadi Utsav to be held in Bhopal Haat. Stalls will be set up by Khadi Village Industries and Handicraft units of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh.
Stalls will be for Khadi sarees, clothes and various other items
In the exhibition, various items including mulberry silk and muslin Khadi sarees of the state and other states, cloth, shawl, suits, readymade garments of all types of Khadi fabric, ladies kurta and clay-art material in village industry, jute, bamboo, wooden furniture, leather bags, belts, purses, incense sticks, shampoo, sanitizer, pure and natural spices, honey, pickles, papad, flour, gram flour porridge etc. will be available.
There will be special discount on Kabira Khadi clothes
In the Khadi festival organized in Bhopal Haat Bazaar, customers will be given the benefit of special discount on all types of Kabira Khadi clothes by Madhya Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board.
