Journalists are true fighters of democracy: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that journalists are true warriors of democracy. Along with being seekers of Saraswati, they do the important work of conveying information to the common people with hard work. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the three-year two-day convention of Shramjeevi Patrakar Sangh at Morena district headquarters on Wednesday.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has said that a committee will be formed at the government level to resolve the demands raised by Shramjeevi Patrakar Sangh in the interest of journalists. The problems of journalists will be resolved by including the office bearers of Shramjeevi Patrakar Sangh as well as administrative officers in this committee. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Shramjeevi Patrakar Sangh is a very old organization working in the interest of journalists. The organization’s president Shri Shalabh Bhadoria continuously works in the interest of journalists. Under his leadership, Shramjeevi Patrakar Sangh is working across the state.

Assembly Speaker Mr. Tomar, MLA Mr. Dinesh Gurjar, MP Mr. Shivmangal Singh Tomar, State President of Shramjeevi Journalist Union Mr. Bhadoria, Mr. Ashish Aggarwal, former MLA Mr. Balveer Dandotiya, Shramjeevi Journalist Union’s Gwalior-Chambal division in-charge Mr. Suresh Sharma, program coordinator Mr. Rajkumar Dubey, District President Mr. Ramsharan Sharma and fellow journalists from across the state were present.

Assembly Speaker Shri Tomar said that journalists are the most aware community in democracy. Shramjeevi Patrakar Sangh is the oldest organization of Madhya Pradesh. This organization is working in the interest of journalists across the state under the leadership of the organization’s president Shri Shalabh Bhadoria. Journalist colleagues are working continuously and faithfully discharging their responsibilities of conveying important information to the general public.

State President of Shramjeevi Patrakar Sangh, Shri Bhadoria thanked Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. He said that on the demand of Shramjeevi Patrakar Sangathan, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced to extend the date for getting journalist insurance, due to which journalists across the state have benefited. On this occasion, he also submitted a memorandum of various demands in the interest of journalists to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. Shri Bhadoria urged the Chief Minister that the state government should fulfill these demands soon for the interest of journalists.

District presidents of Shramik Journalist Sangh from districts across the state also expressed their views in the programme.
