“Jim Corbett National Park: Safari Costs Increased, Here’s How Much You’ll Pay Now”

For those who love adventure and wildlife safaris, a trip to Jim Corbett National Park just became more expensive. After three years, the charges for the park’s safaris have been increased. The fee for a day safari has gone up by 200 rupees per jeep. Visitors usually enjoy safaris in the Dhikala, Bijrani, Dhela, Jhirna, Durga Devi, and Girija tourism zones of Corbett Park. Now, after three years, the charges for the registered jeeps have been revised. The new rate for a day safari has been increased by 200 rupees per jeep. For example, the safari fee for the Bijrani zone has risen from 2500 rupees to 2700 rupees, and the fees for the Jhirna, Dhela, Durga Devi, and Girija zones have increased from 2800 rupees to 3000 rupees.

These new rates have been in effect since April 1, and the updated fees have already been uploaded on Corbett’s official website. However, the revised fees for the Kalagarh, Pakhro, and Sonanadi tourism zones are not included in the updated information. This fee hike comes after the last increase in November 2021. As the weather heats up, more tourists are heading to the hills, bringing an influx of visitors to popular hill stations, including Corbett National Park, which is located in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand. Known for its tiger population, Corbett is not only India’s oldest but also one of its most prestigious national parks. With six tourist zones, it offers the largest and most diverse jungle safari experience, and the Dhikala zone is particularly famous for its rich wildlife and breathtaking natural beauty. The park’s entrance is located just 18 kilometers from the town of Ramnagar.
