Bhopal: Giving concrete shape to the state government’s resolve towards water conservation, Minister of State for Skill Development and Employment (Independent Charge), Shri Gautam Tetwal, under the Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan, participated in the deepening and cleaning work of the Kai river in village Magarana of Sarangpur in Rajgarh district. On this occasion, he participated in the Shramdaan and gave the message of increasing social awareness towards the protection of water sources to the present officers, employees, public representatives and members of the Jan Abhiyan Parishad.

Minister Shri Tetwal said that water conservation is not a one-day program, but a long-term responsibility run by the collective efforts of the society. He said that the villagers are actively participating in this campaign. Due to this, this campaign has taken the form of a mega-campaign. After the Shramdaan on the river bank, he administered the oath of water conservation to the people present.
Complete the cleaning and deepening work within the time limit
Minister Shri Tetwal said that the objective of Jal Ganga Abhiyan is not limited to cleaning or silt removal, but this campaign is a medium to understand and fulfill our moral responsibility towards nature. Minister Shri Tetwal appealed to all the concerned officers, employees and local citizens that all the works identified under Jal Ganga Samvardhan should be completed within the time limit in the next 45 days, so that this effort proves to be fruitful.
