It is necessary to adopt the mission “Water is life”: Chief Minister

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has said that it is necessary to adopt the mission “Water is life” in our daily routine. Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan is being run on a large scale in the state for the conservation and promotion of water sources. No one is untouched by the effect of this campaign in all 55 districts, from district, tehsil, panchayat, village level. This shows our devotion and awareness towards water. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the pond deepening program under the Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan organized in the Police Line of Ujjain today. On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav did Shramdaan for the deepening of the pond located in the Police Line, he also gave the message of environmental protection by planting a palm tree. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated the police administration for the wonderful event of water conservation organized in the Police Line and called for continuing the campaign. He extended his heartfelt wishes to everyone on the occasion of Ganga Dussehra festival.

The pond will be up to 15 feet deep: More than 1500 plants will be planted around

Inspector General of Police Mr. Singh said that the campaign started from World Environment Day Under the Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan, the work of deepening the pond of the Police Line is being done by the Police Volunteers since June 5, the pond will be deepened up to 15 feet. Along with this, more than 1500 saplings will be planted around the pond during the rainy season. The program of Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan was concluded in a celebratory atmosphere in the attractively decorated pond premises of the Police Line. On the arrival of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, first of all, the Guard of Honor was given by the Police Force, Dr. Yadav was welcomed with a shower of flowers amidst the attractive tunes being played by the Police Band.
