International news : PM Modi met Qatar’s Prime Minister, said – our meeting was wonderful

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Qatar’s capital Doha late on Wednesday night. Here he met his counterpart Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani. There was talk between the two leaders on enhancing relations between India and Qatar. PM Modi described this meeting as wonderful. Prime Minister Modi will meet Qatar’s Ruler Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani today and will discuss global issues along with relations between the two countries.

Talk in detail on strengthening bilateral partnership
According to the Ministry of External Affairs, there was a detailed discussion between the two countries on strengthening the India-Qatar partnership. PM Modi held a meeting with Qatar’s Prime Minister cum Foreign Minister HH Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman in Doha and talked in detail about strengthening the bilateral partnership. External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said India is trying to promote historical and deep relations with Qatar. Extensive talks are planned with Qatar’s top leadership.
