Initiative for cleanliness: Chairman Suryakant Rathod flagged off the public awareness rally of Zone 2
Appeal by Safai Mitras and Swachhata Didis to shopkeepers to keep dry, wet waste, harmful waste separately in blue, green and black dustbins and give it to Safai Mitra for disposal
Raipur – Under the Swachh Bharat Mission, under the Swachh Survey 2024, under the Safai Apnao Bimari Bhagao Swachhata Janjagran Abhiyan being run by Municipal Corporation Raipur, today the Safai Apnao Bimari Bhagao Swachhata Janjagran Rally was taken out from Raipur Municipal Corporation Zone 2 office through various main routes in front of the Zone Office Shaheed Smarak School Campus Maudhapara. The Safai Apnao Bimari Bhagao Swachhata Janjagran Rally was inaugurated by Chairman Suryakant Rathore of Municipal Corporation Raipur by showing green flag in the Zone Office premises amidst the presence of Zone 2 Zone Commissioner Dr. R.K. Dongre, Zone Health Officer Ravi Lavania, Safai Mitras and Swachhata Didis in large numbers.
Safai Mitras and Swachhata Didi of Raipur Municipal Corporation Zone 2 Health Department team took out a Swachhata Janjagran Rally on the main roads, “Adopt cleanliness, drive away diseases” from Zone 2 Zone Office under Zone 2 area, through Fafadeep Chowk, Railway Station Road, Station Road Gurudwara, Sanjay Gandhi Chowk, Naharpara Road, Jhulelal Chowk, Canal Linking Road to Municipal Corporation Zone 2 Office. To make Raipur a clean city and get the best cleanliness ranking in the Swachh Survey, all shopkeepers and traders in the market area were appealed to register their participation by keeping wet garbage in green dustbins, dry garbage in blue dustbins and hazardous garbage in black dustbins separately in their shops and handing over the garbage separately to the corporation Safai Mitra in the cleaning vehicle for disposal. Along with this, Swachhata Didi and Safai Mitras raised loud slogans of “Adopt cleanliness, drive away diseases” among the citizens in the Swachhata Janjagran Rally.
