India’s batting failed again, first innings ended at 156 runs
The second match of the three-match Test series between India and New Zealand is going on at Maharashtra Cricket Stadium in Pune. New Zealand, who won the toss and came out to bat first, were all out for 259 runs in the first innings on the first day. In reply, India has scored 16 runs by losing one wicket till the end of the first day’s play. The team is playing ahead of this on Friday.

India got the eighth blow at a score of 136. Mitchell Santner got Ravindra Jadeja out LBW. He was dismissed after scoring 38 runs in 46 balls with the help of three fours and two sixes. India is still 123 runs behind. Currently Washington Sundar and Akash Deep are at the crease.
The second session of the second day has started. Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar are at the crease. The Indian team looks to be in trouble. India’s score is above 110 runs for seven wickets. Jadeja and Sundar will have to score big. New Zealand had scored 259 runs in their first innings.
