Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, New India is making its own identity in the world. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Modi and the leadership of Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnav, Railways is setting new records. The launch of the new express train from Bhavnagar to Ayodhya is very pleasant. This also reminds us of the relationship with Lord Shri Ram and Shri Krishna. India is identified all over the world because of Lord Shri Ram and Shri Krishna. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav on Sunday virtually attended and addressed the launch program of Jabalpur-Raipur Express and Rewa-Pune (Hadapsar) Express from Ujjain. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav flagged off the new trains.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is directly connecting with Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra in terms of rail connectivity today. The launch of Jabalpur-Raipur Express and Rewa-Pune (Hadapsar) Express will boost the business and tourism sector along with passengers. Tiger Safari in Rewa of Baghelkhand region and darshan of Maa Sharda Devi of Maihar Shaktipeeth will be available. Similarly, the number of tourists visiting Sanskardhani Jabalpur and Bhedaghat will increase. Indian Railways has made remarkable progress in the last 11 years. 100% of electrification work has been completed. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, a budget provision of Rs 2 lakh 65 thousand crore has been made in 2025-26. Jabalpur-Raipur Intercity Express will further increase connectivity with the neighboring state.
Union Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnav said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has an emotional attachment with the railways. It is the main means of transportation for the poor and middle class of the country. With the vision of Prime Minister Shri Modi, the Central Government has worked with determination to modernize the railways in 10-11 years. The introduction of new trains, construction of modern coaches and renovation of railway stations are unprecedented works of the Railways. Connectivity from Rewa to Pune is increasing. The tribal region will benefit from the new train between Jabalpur and Raipur. 34 thousand kilometers of new railway tracks have been built in the last 11 years. Every day 12 km of track is being laid and 1300 stations are being newly constructed, this holds a different place in itself among the developed countries of the world. New trains like Vande Bharat are being run. 8 Amrit Bharat Express have been started in the country, in which facilities like Vande Bharat are being given at a lower fare. Namo Bharat is a connecting train of two nearby cities. Prime Minister Shri Modi has pledged to change the face of railways. Shri Vaishnav said that a new train will be started soon from Porbandar to Rajkot. New coach maintenance facility will be developed at Ranawad station. A new railway line will be laid from Sardia to Bansjaliya. Bullet train will also be started soon between Mumbai and Ahmedabad. This train will reach the destination in just 2 hours and 13 minutes.

Due to the double engine government, no project remains pending for long. Many ministers, public representatives and citizens participated directly and virtually in the inauguration program of new rail operations. The new rail services started will establish better rail connectivity between 4 states Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Gujarat, which will directly benefit the citizens of these four states in terms of transportation and trade-commerce. The start of operations of new express trains from Jabalpur to Raipur, Rewa to Pune and Bhavnagar to Ayodhya has added a new dimension to the expansion of the rail network.
