India has created new records in the field of science: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal:  Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that systematic working system based on science, encouragement of inquisitive nature and use of latest technologies have paved the way for the country to be counted among the top nations of the world. This achievement has been possible only under the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The state government is constantly working towards improving the life of the common man by using science as much as possible in the functioning of governmental system and general systems including education. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the students and youth in a program organized at Vigyan Bhavan in Bhopal on the theme of “Empowering Indian youth in global leadership in science and innovation for developed India” on National Science Day. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the program by lighting a lamp and garlanding the statue of Maa Saraswati. Before this, he paid homage to the great scientist Shri CV Raman, awarded with Nobel Prize, by garlanding his statue.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the “Centre of Excellence in STEM Education” at Vigyan Bhawan on National Science Day. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav got information about the models presented in the centre and the equipments that help in explaining various principles of science to the students easily. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav observed the exhibition put up by the students on this occasion and discussed with them about the models and innovations made by them. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav planted a tree under the name of Ek Ped Maa. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav met progressive farmer Shri Puranlal Kushwaha from Tikamgarh and also got information by observing the wind and water pump developed by him for irrigation. Director of Madhya Pradesh Hindi Granth Academy Shri Ashok Kadel, Director Vikramaditya Shodhpeeth and Culture Advisor to the Chief Minister Shri Shriram Tiwari, Director General of Madhya Pradesh Science and Technology Council Dr. Anil Kothari were present in the program.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav released posters developed on capacity development program for crop insurance, 13th Madhya Pradesh Artisan Science Conference, Vigyan Manthan Yatra, Entrepreneurship Development Program, National Scientific Conference and Science Festival under Vikramotsav-2025 and establishment of patent and technology based training and center. In the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology and VIT Bhopal for mutual cooperation in academic and scientific field. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also released the magazine “Rachna” of Madhya Pradesh Hindi Granth Academy.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that India is going through its golden era under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi. India has created new records at the global level in the field of science, which includes many innovations and systems like vaccination and digital payments during the Covid period. During the Covid period, systems in countries like America and England were affected, but in a country like India with a large population, the same work was completed with great skill and commitment.

India has an ancient tradition of developing systems based on curiosity and science. The Navgrahas have been worshipped in India even before the invention of the telescope in the West. India was the first country in the world to propound many theories of astronomy. Lord Krishna gave the message of the unity of the universe and the human body through ‘Yat Pinde-Tat Brahmande’. Similarly, Charaiveti-Charaiveti gives a sense of the continuity of time. The law of gravity is also contained in ancient Indian scriptures.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that there are many mysteries scattered in the universe, science is to discover them and solve the problems. The great Indian scientist Shri Chandrashekhar Venkat (CV) Raman discovered the Raman effect on 28 February 1928. That is why this day is celebrated as National Science Day. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav interacted with the students on Indian knowledge tradition and various principles of astronomy developed in India.

Director General Madhya Pradesh Science and Technology Council Mr Anil Kothari said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr Yadav, work is being done to promote science and innovation, research and start-ups in the state. He informed that Madhya Pradesh Science and Technology Council is making several efforts to promote awareness towards science and research in science innovation in the state. The organization of Global Investors Summit under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr Yadav has written a golden chapter in the field of science and innovation.
