Grand oath taking ceremony of newly elected Mayor and councillors of Municipal Corporation Ambikapur concluded
Raipur 2 March 2025: The oath taking ceremony of newly elected Mayor and councillors of Municipal Corporation Ambikapur was concluded today at PG College Hockey Stadium in Ambikapur. In the presence of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Collector Vilas Bhoskar administered the oath to Mayor Smt. Manjusha Bhagat and councillors in groups of 8 each.
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that this oath taking ceremony of Ambikapur Municipal Corporation is a symbol of public trust, democratic values and commitment towards city development. The city government is committed to fulfill all the promises made in the ‘Atal Vishwas Patra’. He said that the Mayor and councillors will live up to the trust with which the public has elected them. He said that everyone will have to work together to make Ambikapur a clean, smart and prosperous city. Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, while congratulating the newly elected public representatives, emphasized on transparency and effective administration in the development of the city. On this occasion, Agriculture Minister Ram Vichar Netam, Surguja MP Chintamani Maharaj, Ambikapur MLA Rajesh Agarwal, Lundra MLA Prabodh Minj, Chhattisgarh State Youth Commission Chairman Vishwa Vijay Singh Tomar and other public representatives and dignitaries were present.
