Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda has said that Commercial Tax Inspectors working for GST collection have an important role in revenue growth, which has an important place in the nation’s economy. This department not only ensures smooth implementation of GST, but also provides necessary guidance and assistance to taxpayers. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Devda congratulated and wished all the officers involved in this important work. Shri Devda attended the annual convention and golden jubilee celebrations of Madhya Pradesh Commercial Tax Inspectors at Ravindra Bhawan Bhopal. He said that in the resolution of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, our nation will be number 1 among developed nations in 2047. Amazing work has been done in revenue growth under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. All the citizens of the state will have to work together for tax collection. He said that the problems of revenue inspectors and their solutions should be taken seriously. They have to be solved with complete honesty.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Devda has appealed to the Commercial Tax Inspector to work self-motivated in recovery of arrears for revenue increase, increase dealer base, take effective action on tax evasion. Increase revenue by information obtained from field work. He also said that to upgrade their capabilities, establish better cooperation and coordination with training and development. He said that for good work, inspectors should be motivated and encouraged and also given rewards and honor.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Devda said that being a state minister, I myself am sensitive towards my departments and try to work keeping the nation in mind. He said that I welcome all colleagues and expect everyone to do their work with full enthusiasm. Whatever demands are there, efforts will be made to fulfill them as per rules. He wished all Revenue Inspectors on Rakshabandhan and 15th August.

Commissioner Commercial Tax Shri Dhanraju S said that tax collection is an old work. With time, changes and expectations have also changed in it. The departmental demand letter will be understood and fulfilled. Together we will fulfill the responsibility of revenue collection responsibly.

Inspector Association President Mr. Sandeep Meena said that inspectors from all districts of the state are present here today. This organization is a group of 400 inspectors. Today we are completing 50 years. We are working on the principle of “one country-one tax-one common duty and responsibility”. He apprised the Deputy Chief Minister and Commissioner of Commercial Tax about the requirements of running the departmental work smoothly and requested for a solution.
