Rajnandgaon: A teacher posted in a school in Mohla Manpur Ambagarh Chowki district has been accused of being a supporter of Naxalites. The police have arrested him. According to the police, the accused teacher Ramlal Nureti, a resident of Mahka village of Sitagaon police station area, works as a guest teacher appointed on contract basis in the government primary school of Karekatta village. The accused was allegedly involved in putting up banners and posters of Maoists in the area in September last year.
Now the demand for the release of the arrested teacher has started rising. Angered by the arrest, a group of villagers, including school children, started a protest in front of a police station here demanding the release of the teacher.
