Government is committed to better health of citizens: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the state government is committed to better health of citizens along with development. Therefore, hospitals are being inspected from time to time. The funds given by the state government should be properly utilized. All officers should work with quality and efficiency. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was giving information after inspecting Hamidia Hospital on Monday evening. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inspected the pediatric ward and other rooms in Hamidia Hospital. He talked to the patients and their relatives. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was informed about the expansion work and new proposals being done in the hospital by senior doctors.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the rainy season is going on, so it is possible that the number of patients in hospitals will increase. Expansion work is going on here keeping in mind that patients do not face any difficulty. Hamidia Hospital is the largest hospital in the state. The capacity of this hospital is 2250 beds. Currently, facilities of 1850 beds are being provided. It is hoped that the completion of new construction works will end the difficulties of the patients. He informed that new proposals worth about Rs 199 crore have come to provide facilities to the patients in the hospital. These include proposals for Regional Institute of Respiratory worth Rs 35 crore, Centre of Excellence for Orthopedics worth Rs 42 crore, and purchase of new machines for cancer treatment worth Rs 30 crore.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Bone Marrow Centre will be started soon in the hospital. Apart from this, a new hostel block for PG students worth Rs 20 crore will be built. MRI/CT machine worth Rs 20 crore will be given to the hospital soon. A new integrated OPD block worth Rs 35 crore and a new UG hostel worth Rs 17 crore will be built.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that proper efforts and arrangements are being made to provide better treatment to the public in government hospitals. He said that I inspect all the departments, especially hospitals where the public comes in large numbers, so that the patients do not face any difficulty.
