GIS-Bhopal has created golden history in the development of Madhya Pradesh: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Madhya Pradesh is fully committed to achieving the resolution of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, records of unprecedented achievements are being created continuously. GIS-Bhopal has received investment proposals worth a record Rs 26.61 lakh crore in two days. GIS-Bhopal has left many states behind in attracting investors. In these investment proposals, Madhya Pradesh has received investment proposals worth Rs 30.77 lakh crore in 7 regional conclaves, 6 road shows and interactive sessions organized in the last one year. These will create more than 21.40 lakh employment opportunities for the youth. Madhya Pradesh has become the third state in the country to receive the highest investment proposals in a financial year. More than 85 MoUs have been signed in different sectors in two days of GIS-Bhopal. Encouraged by the good results of the Regional Industry Conclave, the State Government is now formulating a strategy to organize Industrial Conclaves in future based on sectors and regional industrial specialities as the basis for investment.
Madhya Pradesh has achieved an unprecedented feat in realizing the resolve of Prime Minister Shri Modi for self-reliant India and developed India. Madhya Pradesh has also left behind many states in attracting investors in GIS-Bhopal. Due to the efficient management and strong industrial policies of the state government, investment proposals worth Rs 26.61 lakh crore have been received in just 2 days.
Total investment of Rs 30.77 lakh crore in 1 year
With the unprecedented success of GIS-Bhopal, the state has received a total investment proposal of Rs 30.77 lakh crore in the last one year. 7 regional industry conclaves, 6 road shows and interactive sessions held last year played an important role in these proposals.
These investment proposals will provide employment opportunities to more than 21.40 lakh youth in Madhya Pradesh. With this, Madhya Pradesh has become the third state in the country to receive the maximum investment proposals in a financial year.

Success achieved under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Modi
GIS-Bhopal was inaugurated by Prime Minister Shri Modi on 24 February. Appreciating the industrial capabilities and investment-friendly environment of Madhya Pradesh, he said that “this is the right time to invest in Madhya Pradesh.” His speech further strengthened the confidence of the guest entrepreneurs towards investing in Madhya Pradesh. Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah and Union Civil Aviation Minister Shri K. Ram Mohan Naidu were present to encourage investors on the second day of GIS. Home Minister Shri Shah’s speech also instilled confidence in investors about the capabilities of Madhya Pradesh. Prime Minister Shri Modi also launched 18 new industrial policies of the state . This will give more impetus to trade and investment in the state.
More than 85 MoUs were signed
More than 85 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) have been signed in various sectors at GIS-Bhopal. These agreements will promote the establishment of new industrial units in the state and development in various sectors.
With these efforts of the Madhya Pradesh government, the state is not only becoming industrially strong, but new doors of employment are also opening for the youth. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the state is emerging as a favorite destination for investors and is making a significant contribution to the industrial progress of the country.
Foreign delegates discuss investment opportunities
High commissioners and business representatives from various countries participated in GIS-Bhopal. These included Shri Rajendra Modi , Deputy Minister, Industry and Commerce, Zimbabwe, Dr. Shankar Prasad Sharma , Ambassador, Nepal, Shri Mohammad Raliki, Ambassador, Turkey, Ms. Stella Nkera , Ambassador, Zimbabwe, Dr. Nijire Nifes , Ambassador, Burkina Faso, Shri Yagi Kaji , Consul General, Japan and Shri Walter Ferrara , Consul General, Italy. All of them praised the investment-friendly environment in Madhya Pradesh and gave positive indications about future cooperation. Organizing the Global Investors Summit (GIS-Bhopal) has proved to be a milestone in the industrial journey of Madhya Pradesh. More than 100 representatives from more than 60 countries participated in it. Also , 9 countries like Canada, Germany, Italy, Japan, Turkey, Poland, Russia, Rwanda and UAE became country partners. These countries have shown special interest in investment and business cooperation in the state.
25,000+ registrations and 600+ B2G meetings
GIS-Bhopal received an overwhelming response from investors, with over 25,000 registrations and over 600 B2G (business-to-government) and over 5000 B2B (business-to-business) meetings held. During these meetings, investment proposals were discussed in detail between the Madhya Pradesh government and entrepreneurs.
Participation of industrial giants
More than 300 leading industrialists from India and the world participated in the summit. These included stalwarts like Gautam Adani (Adani Group), Kumar Mangalam Birla (Aditya Birla Group), Nupur Khandelwal (Rasna Private Limited) and Baba Kalyani (Bharat Forge Limited) and Mr. Sudhir Aggarwal of Sagar Industries Group.
Investment proposals worth Rs 30.77 lakh crore received
GIS-Bhopal is expected to generate investment of Rs 26.61 lakh crore in various sectors, Regional Industrial Conclave is expected to generate investment of Rs 2.34 lakh crore and 2.74 lakh jobs, Interactive Session is expected to generate investment of Rs 1.82 lakh crore and 1.32 lakh jobs, UK Roadshow is expected to generate investment of Rs 1.25 lakh crore and 1.10 lakh jobs, German Tour is expected to generate investment proposal of Rs 1.50 lakh crore and 1.20 lakh jobs, Japan Tour is expected to generate investment proposal of Rs 2 lakh crore and 1.5 lakh jobs. Thus, in the last financial year, investment proposals worth Rs 30.77 lakh crore were received, which are expected to generate employment opportunities of about 21.40 lakhs. During this period, MoUs worth Rs 1.30 lakh crore were also signed between National Authority of India and Public Works Department, which will give new impetus to the development of roads and infrastructure in the state.
