Mahasamund. The district police has once again taken major action. Police have arrested a person here with 96 kg of ganja worth Rs 48 lakh in a luxury car. The matter is of Komakhan police station area.
Actually, the police had received information from the informer that a car carrying a large quantity of ganja was coming towards Chhattisgarh. On this, during checking, the police stopped and checked the car serial number DL 4CNE 1690. Upon search, 96 kg of ganja was recovered from the chamber in the trunk of the car, the value of which is said to be Rs 48 lakh. In this regard, when the car driver Hansraj Sharma, 38, a resident of Delhi, was interrogated, he told that he was going to Delhi with ganja from Odisha. At present, the police has arrested ganja smuggler Hansraj Sharma and is interrogating the accused.
