Festivals are the heritage of our prosperous India, celebrate them with pomp and show: Food Minister Rajput

Bhopal. A huge procession was taken out by the Yadav community in Rahatgarh of Sagar district on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami. Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Shri Govind Singh Rajput participated in the procession. While congratulating and wishing all the residents of the area on the occasion of Krishna Janma Utsav Krishna Janmashtami, he said that this festival is the heritage of our prosperous India, it should be celebrated with pomp and show. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has appealed to the people to celebrate all the festivals according to tradition and with pomp and show. Festivals connect us with religion and create an atmosphere of unity in the society.

Shri Rajput said that Lord Shri Krishna was born for public welfare. We all should take a pledge today to follow in his footsteps. All the residents of the area also congratulated Minister Shri Rajput on his birthday. He planted saplings under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign.
