Every corner of the region will be irrigated by Tapti Basin Mega Recharge Scheme: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the state government is moving forward towards an agreement with the Maharashtra government for the Tapti Basin Mega Recharge Scheme. Every corner of the region will be irrigated by this world’s largest ground recharge project. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was discussing with the farmers who had come to meet him from Burhanpur under the leadership of former minister and MLA Burhanpur Mrs. Archana Chitnis at the ministry on Tuesday.
Representatives of Naval Singh Sahakari Sugar Factory Limited Burhanpur also met Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in public interest, a competent board of directors should be formed to run the sugar factory and the factory should be run in the interest of farmers and regional people, the state government is ready for every possible cooperation. Farmers from Burhanpur also requested Chief Minister Dr. Yadav to increase the compensation of RBC (6-4) for watermelon and melon. MP Shri Gyaneshwar Patil and MLA Ms. Manju Dadu were also present on this occasion.
