Bhopal. Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar participated in the special cleanliness drive run at Laxman Talaiya on Saturday under the Swachhata Hi Seva Pakhwada. He cleaned Laxman Talaiya and Mouni Baba Ashram by sweeping. Also, three Safai Mitras were honored with cash prizes.
Energy Minister Shri Tomar honored the senior Safai Mitra with a prize of two thousand rupees and the other two Safai Mitras with a prize of one thousand rupees each. Also, all Safai Mitras were encouraged.
Earlier, Energy Minister Shri Tomar took stock of the improvement works done after the waterlogging situation created by heavy rains in the Laxman Talaiya area. Also, he instructed the officials present on the spot to promptly resolve the problems related to road, sewer, water and electricity. He said that especially the cleaning of sewer should be ensured on priority. He also inspected the houses damaged due to heavy rains in the Laxman Talaiya area and instructed the concerned officials to conduct a survey of this area.
Apart from Laxman Talaiya area, Energy Minister Shri Tomar also heard public problems in Scindia Nagar, Ravidas Nagar, Vinay Nagar Sector-2 and Urvai Gate area and gave instructions for their solution.
