Electricity personnel should be available on phone 24X7

In order to ensure smooth and uninterrupted power supply, Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company has issued instructions to the electricity personnel of 16 districts of its jurisdiction to keep their phones on 24X7.

It is worth noting that there is a possibility of power supply being disrupted due to faults in power lines due to rain, storm, hurricane etc. During this time, it takes a lot of time to repair the faults and power lines, due to which consumers face difficulty in providing uninterrupted power supply.

During this time, in order to deal with the increasing number of consumer complaints and consumer dissatisfaction, Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company has issued instructions to the field staff of 16 districts of its jurisdiction along with regular/contractual/service provider personnel associated with the power supply system to keep their mobile phones on 24X7 and even during holidays.

The company has informed that if the mobile of any officer or employee is switched off due to special reasons, then they will inform their controlling officer through other contact sources. No personnel will be able to leave the headquarters without the permission of the controlling officer. The company has said that if any employee does not follow the instructions, action will be taken against him.
