Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Abhiyan: 500 saplings planted in Sarjubandha Muktidham premises

Raipur. On the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, under the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Abhiyan led by the Chief Minister of the state Vishnudev Sai, today in the Sarjubandha Muktidham premises under Raipur Municipal Corporation Zone 6, about 500 saplings of various fruit-bearing, shady species including neem, amla were planted by MIC member Sameer Akhtar, councilor Shri Chandrapal Dhangar Guddu Sarjubandha Muktidham Committee President Maghav Yadav, Zone 6 Zone Commissioner Ramesh Jaiswal, Executive Engineer Atul Chopra, Deputy Engineer Himanshu Chandrakar along with social workers and dignitaries, about 5 feet high shady, fruit-bearing saplings were planted in the Muktidham premises Sarjubandha and a collective pledge was taken to protect and take care of all the planted saplings. Sarjubandha Muktidham Committee Chairman Maghav Yadav praised Raipur Municipal Corporation for making arrangements for planting about 500 saplings in the Muktidham premises for the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign.
Similarly, in the Municipal Corporation Zone 10 area, in the Dunda High School campus, under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign, the teachers, students of the school, along with the officials of Municipal Corporation Zone 10 including Ward Councilor Representative Shri Chandrahas Nirmalkar, planted saplings in the school premises. Also, a collective pledge was taken on this occasion to take proper care and protection of all the planted saplings until they become trees.
In the same sequence, in the area of ​​Municipal Corporation Zone 8, in Mohabazaar School, Zone Commissioner Arun Dhruv along with the officials and teachers, students of the school planted saplings under the campaign ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ and collectively planted saplings in the school premises and pledged to protect and care for them.
