Development is being accelerated in every area of Chhattisgarh: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai

Chief Minister Sai laid the roadmap for visionary development in the ‘Rising Chhattisgarh’ conclave
Raipur, 11 July 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai attended the grand ‘Rising Chhattisgarh’ conclave organized by News18 Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh in the capital Raipur. Various aspects of development, good governance and public welfare of the state were discussed in the program. Chief Minister Sai clarified on this occasion that his government is working to take inclusive development forward at a rapid pace in Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that the 3 crore people of Chhattisgarh gave us historic support and we started the work as soon as the government was formed. 18 lakh Pradhan Mantri Awas were approved in the very first cabinet, due to which thousands of families are getting the opportunity of housewarming today. Taking a historic decision in the agriculture sector, our government has started purchasing paddy from farmers at the rate of ₹ 3100 per quintal including the outstanding amount of two years. Under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana for women, 70 lakh women of the state are being given assistance of ₹ 1000 per month.
Chief Minister Sai said that under tribal empowerment, from distribution of Charan Paduka to bonus to tendu leaf collectors and through Tirtha Darshan Yojana, the poor are being provided the opportunity to go on religious pilgrimage. The Chief Minister said that we had promised to provide banking facilities in the panchayats, under which Atal Digital Centers have been established in 1460 gram panchayats, and it will soon be expanded to all the panchayats of the state. The work of manufacturing ready to eat has again been handed over to women self-help groups. The Chief Minister said that our government is seriously taking forward the Naxal-free India campaign. The central government has set a deadline of March 31, 2026 to make the country Naxal-free, and we are rapidly carrying out development work in the villages under the Niyyad Nelar Yojana. This change is being made possible by the commitment of the double engine government. Several thought-provoking sessions were organized in the ‘Rising Chhattisgarh’ conclave focusing on the possibilities, achievements and future direction of Chhattisgarh. The conclave presented the vision of Chhattisgarh strongly on the national stage by providing an effective platform for dialogue on governance, empowerment and innovation. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma and Agriculture Minister Dr. Ramvichar Netam were also present on this occasion.
