Dehradun Transforms for National Games, Showcasing Uttarakhand’s Culture on Walls

Dehradun : Dehradun is being decked up like a bride for the 38th National Games. The state government and Sports Minister Rekha Arya are working tirelessly to prepare for the grand event. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Dehradun on January 28 to inaugurate the National Games. Dehradun Shines for the National Games Ahead of the PM’s visit, Sports Minister Rekha Arya has directed the sports department and the organizing agency to ensure that the inauguration ceremony on January 28 becomes a historic and memorable event. She emphasized upgrading roads connecting major venues like the Silver Jubilee Sports Complex with the airport, railway station, and bus terminals. Additionally, the city’s main areas are being repainted and beautified.

Walls Depicting Uttarakhand’s Rich Culture Minister Rekha Arya has instructed officials to showcase Uttarakhand’s culture and traditions on the walls of the venues during the beautification process. This will give athletes and sports enthusiasts from other states a chance to experience the heritage and culture of Uttarakhand. The painting and decoration work is being carried out at a brisk pace. Sports Minister’s Appeal to the Public Minister Rekha Arya has appealed to the people of the state to actively participate in this grand event. She urged citizens to show their support by updating their social media display pictures with the logo, torch, and mascot of the National Games.
