Today, on Friday, a crowd of devotees gathered at Har Ki Pauri for Kartik Purnima bath. Since morning, devotees are taking a holy dip by paying obeisance to Maa Ganga. Police has released a traffic plan for Kartik Purnima bath festival. Parking places have been decided by implementing the route diversion plan for vehicles coming from outside.
Senior Superintendent of Police Pramod Singh Dobal has given instructions to strictly follow the plan and keep the traffic system in order. SP Traffic Pankaj Gairola said that entry of all heavy vehicles will be banned in the urban area from 12 o’clock on Thursday night till the bath is over.

Vehicles coming to Haridwar for bathing from Delhi, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar will be sent to Alaknanda, Deendayal, Pantdweep, Chamkad Island parking via Narsan, Mangalore, Core College, Khyaati Dhaba, Gurukul Kangri, Shankaracharya Chowk.
On increasing pressure, vehicles will be sent to Bairagi Camp Parking from Narsan, Mangalore, Core College, Khyaati Dhaba, Gurukul Kangri, Service Lane, Singhdwar, Deshrakshak Tiraha, Budhimaata, Shriyantra Puliya.
