Fear Grips Bijapur Ahead of Amit Shah’s Visit- A wave of terror has washed over Bijapur, Chhattisgarh, as Naxalites brutally murder two villagers just before Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s scheduled visit.
Night of Horror in Bijapur-The incident occurred in the Yampur Sandra Bor village under the jurisdiction of Pamed police station. Naxalites barged into homes, targeting former Maoist, Veko Deva, and villager, Samaiya, under suspicion of being police informants. Both were killed in cold blood, leaving the community in a state of fear and uncertainty.
Accusations of Informants-This brutal act is a grim reminder of the Naxalites’ ruthless tactics. They frequently accuse villagers of being police informants and carry out summary executions. The sheer brutality of the killings has sent shockwaves through the village.
Police Investigation Underway- Bijapur SP, Dr. Jitendra Yadav, confirmed receiving reports of the incident. A police team is currently on the ground, investigating the scene and carrying out a search operation. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation and working to ensure the safety of the villagers.
