Corporation Commissioner’s instructions to take sealing action for recovery from big defaulters
Raipur. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai and guidance of Raipur District Collector Gaurav Singh, the works of Raipur Municipal Corporation are continuously gaining momentum in public interest and in terms of expanding public facilities. In this sequence, today Municipal Corporation Raipur Commissioner Abinash Mishra held a review meeting with Additional Commissioner Abhishek Aggarwal, Shailendra Patle, Vinod Pandey, Deputy Commissioner Krishna Khatik, A. Of. Haldar, Dr. R. Of. Dongre, in the presence of Superintending Engineer Rajesh Sharma, all zone commissioners and executive engineers, reviewed the works and gave necessary instructions. The Commissioner has given instructions to all the zone commissioners to take sealing action in the concerned institutions to recover the entire outstanding revenue from the big defaulters of all the 10 zones of the Municipal Corporation, giving the highest priority to the interest of the corporation. The Commissioner has appealed to all the big defaulters of the Municipal Corporation to immediately pay their entire dues to the Revenue Department of the Municipal Corporation, otherwise, he has asked to take action of sealing in the institutions of all the big defaulters concerned who are not paying taxes. The Commissioner has directed the Zone Commissioners to ensure that after any major event in the capital city Raipur, they send a team to the said site to collect the garbage and get it cleaned. The Commissioner has given instructions to all zone commissioners to launch a campaign and impose fines on business establishments that do not have dustbins. The Commissioner said that it should be ensured that garbage should not be visible on the main roads. The Commissioner has given instructions to immediately start all the approved development works at the selected sites and to ensure that all the development works are completed within the stipulated time frame by maintaining high level quality through continuous monitoring and with a view to expanding public facilities in the public interest. Instructions have been given to get the work of developing vending zones done at the sites quickly and in an organized manner at the zone level, keeping in mind the public convenience.
