Construction work completed in Bhopal city circle for a sparkling Deepawali
Bhopal. Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company’s city circle Bhopal has completed construction and maintenance works in view of the Deepawali festival. This will ensure uninterrupted and quality power supply to consumers on the festival of lights, Deepawali.
LILO arrangement work on 33 KV line was completed at 2 places under Bhopal city circle. Along with this, the capacity of overloaded power transformers was increased from 05 MVA to 10 MVA in 3 sub-stations AKVN, E-8 and Rohitas sub-stations. The company has selected areas with high load under Bhopal city circle and installed additional distribution transformers at a total of 170 places. Along with this, the work of increasing the capacity of distribution transformers has been completed at 3 places. At the same time, a total of 40.5 km of old wires were replaced at 147 places. Cable work has been done, while capacity enhancement work of total 8.5 km cable has been completed at 57 places of city circle. Due to this, low pressure consumers will get better power supply at adequate voltage.
The company informed that for uninterrupted power supply to consumers under city circle Bhopal, post monsoon maintenance of 87 sub-stations, 201 power transformers, 60 nos. 33 kV feeders, 315 nos. 11 kV feeders and 3386 nos. distribution transformers and 2380 kms. low pressure lines has been completed. It is worth mentioning that for this, the load record of distribution transformers has been checked in the evening by the officers and employees under the city circle, during which action has been taken to balance the load of total 532 distribution transformers on finding overloaded or unbalanced load. This will ensure uninterrupted and quality power supply during the festival of Diwali.
