Bhopal: Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla has said that all the works of infrastructure development and administrative reform of the Health and Medical Education Department should be completed within the stipulated time frame, so that health services can be made more effective and accessible to the public. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla conducted a comprehensive review of the Health and Medical Education Department at the Secretariat Bhopal. Principal Secretary Health and Medical Education Shri Sandeep Yadav, Commissioner Shri Tarun Rathi and Deputy Secretary Mrs. Suchismita Saxena were present in the meeting.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla reviewed the process of recruitment to the sanctioned posts in 454 health institutions through Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission and Employee Selection Board and directed to complete the formalities on time. He reviewed the progress of the work of Cathlab in Rewa Medical College. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla directed to complete the work soon, so that the regional patients can get the facility of advanced treatment. Along with this, he directed to speed up the process of filling vacant posts in Rewa and Satna Medical College, MY Hospital Indore.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla discussed important issues proposed for the cabinet. The proposal for pay protection in medical colleges and approval of posts in district hospitals of new districts was discussed. He directed to take action to make the required improvements in the rules and instructions to promote organ donation in the state.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla directed to adopt a standard procedure for appointment to outsourced posts in medical colleges. In the meeting, he asked to hold a meeting of the special committee constituted to consider the cases of doctors suspended for years and take action as per the rules. He discussed the issue of issuing NOC to doctors who have completed their bond period and making the process of returning their documents online and gave instructions to facilitate the process.
