Commissioner inspected drain cleaning campaign before rain

Raipur – Raipur District Collector Dr. As per the orders of Gaurav Kumar Singh, the Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Raipur, Mr. Abinash Mishra is continuously inspecting the progress of pre-monsoon drains and drains cleaning campaign at various places in the Municipal Corporation area every day.
Commissioner Abinash Mishra today inspected the progress of pre-rain JCB and manual cleaning of the big drain near Mahindra Tractor Company office on the banks of Kushalpur Ring Road under Municipal Corporation Zone 5. Zone 5 Zone Commissioner Mr. Vimal Sharma and Zone Health Officer Mr. Sandeep Verma inspected the progress. Done in presence. The cleaning of Kushalpur Ring Road Bada drain is being done by Zone 5 Health Department with the help of 10 cleaning workers and the cleaning of the drain is going on with JCB machine. The Commissioner gave instructions to get the drain cleaned at a fast pace before the rains, to ensure smooth drainage management by completing the drain cleaning quickly with the help of Poklane machine. The Commissioner inspected the progress of manual cleaning of Kukri Para drain being done with the help of 15 cleaning workers in the area of Mahamaya Mandir Ward Number 65 of Municipal Corporation Zone 6, in the presence of Zone Health Officer of Zone 6, Mr. Sanjeev Sharma. After cleaning Kukri Para drain, about 3 dumpers of garbage have been taken out from the drain through manual method. The Commissioner has given instructions to complete the drain cleaning work expeditiously and ensure smooth drainage. The Commissioner has given instructions to ensure that the ongoing drain cleaning works are completed in an organized manner by May 31, 2024 to ensure easy drainage of drains and drains before the rains in all the 10 zones.
