
Government Approves Funds for Temple Beautification and Road Construction in Pithoragarh
Dehradun: The government has sanctioned significant funds for infrastructure and beautification projects in various constituencies of Pithoragarh district.
- ₹74.99 lakh has been allocated for the beautification of Bhaisakot Kalasam Temple in the Dharachula Assembly constituency.
- ₹42.50 lakh has been approved for the construction of a road and culvert from Barniya village to Jaiti/G.G.I.C. Namjala in the Dharachula constituency.
- ₹95.90 lakh will be used to develop a trekking route from Mad to Asurchula Temple in the Pithoragarh constituency.
- ₹74.97 lakh has been sanctioned for the construction of a funeral procession route from Sanwalisera to Hansheshwar Cremation Ground in Didihat constituency.
- ₹88.46 lakh will be used for the construction of a C.C. pathway from Barmau village to Khandenath Temple in Pithoragarh.
- ₹15.05 lakh has been approved for interlocking tile construction on a 400-meter pedestrian path from a guest house to Harichand Devta Temple in Dhara Tok, Hadkhola village, Didihat constituency.
- Additionally, ₹25 lakh has been approved for the beautification of Maa Vasanti Devi Durga Temple in Rudrapur village.
These projects aim to enhance infrastructure and promote religious tourism in the region.
