CM Dhami reached Kedarnath, distributed prasad to the devotees, said- Chardham Yatra is our lifeline

With the opening of the famous Kedarnath Temple, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami shared Prasad with visitors at a big feast in the temple. He also thanked the people who kept Kedarnath clean and those who helped rebuild it after the disaster. People were so happy to see the Chief Minister! Thousands enjoyed the feast. He talked with many pilgrims, asking about their trip. They thanked him for all the government’s help. This year, a record number of people visited the Char Dham pilgrimage sites. The Chief Minister wished everyone well and said the Badrinath Temple would open on May 4th. The government is ready to help pilgrims have a smooth and easy journey. He mentioned that last year’s disaster in Kedarnath caused a 35-day delay, but thanks to local people and the government, they were able to get things back on track quickly.

The Chief Minister called the Char Dham Yatra really important to the state, as it provides jobs for millions. The government wants the pilgrimage to happen all year round, so they’ve started winter pilgrimages, too. This was supported by Prime Minister Modi, who visited to help promote the winter pilgrimage. The Chief Minister thanked the Prime Minister for all the help with rebuilding Kedarnath, a project costing ₹2000 crore. He also mentioned that the government approved building a cable car from Gaurikund to Kedarnath, making the journey easier for everyone.
