Kanker 28 May 2025: Under the last phase of Sushasan Tihar, today Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai’s helicopter landed in village Mandri of Kanker (North Bastar) district. He set up his Chaupal under the Panchayat shed and interacted with the common villagers while taking information about the schemes. He said that it is my good fortune that I got the opportunity to meet you people. Today I feel like meeting all of you and being among the family. Explaining the significance of Sushasan Tihar, Chief Minister Sai said that applications were taken in the first phase, action was taken on them in the second phase and now in the third phase the government has reached your village. We have worked in the interest of the public in the last one and a half years. Sushasan Tihar is also our report card and an opportunity to evaluate the work done by the government. Through this we are knowing the status of implementation of public welfare schemes on the ground. Apart from us, ministers, MPs, MLAs, Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary and other senior officials are also participating in Sushasan Tihar.
Addressing the villagers, Chief Minister Sai said that as soon as the government took oath, the cabinet approved 18 lakh Pradhan Mantri Awas under the guarantee of Prime Minister Modi. The Chief Minister said that all the needy will get housing, those whose names are in ‘Awas Plus’ will also be given housing. Chief Minister Sai said that the door to economic prosperity and women empowerment has been opened by giving the amount of ‘Mahatari Vandan Yojana’ directly to the accounts of more than 70 lakh women. Those beneficiaries who are still deprived will also be added.
The Chief Minister said that Atal Digital Seva Kendras have been started in Gram Panchayats from April 24. With this, the villagers will get the facility of banking and other services in the village itself. Right now this service has been started in 1460 panchayats. Chief Minister Sai said that the government is closing all the avenues of corruption with the use of technology. The process of transfer along with registry has been simplified with the new process of registration. Chief Minister Sai, who suddenly arrived in village Mandari and tested the reality of schemes through dialogue, communicated with the villagers in Chhattisgarhi. The Chief Minister took information from the beneficiaries about the electricity system, ration distribution and the amount of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. On this occasion, beneficiary Itwarin Achala told that she is depositing the amount received under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana by opening an account in the name of her daughter in Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana. He assured the villagers that the government stands with every needy person and public welfare is the top priority of the government.

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai announced approval of 20 lakhs for construction of boundary wall of Mandri High School, approval of 5 lakhs for boundary wall in Mandri Anganwadi Center building, approval of 15 lakhs for construction of 600 meters of CC road from Salhebhant main road to Tiru Salam Ghar, approval of 3.50 crores for extension of line for irrigation in fields from Jhura Nala. On this occasion, MLA Kanker Asha Ram Netam, District Panchayat President Mrs. Kiran Nooreti, Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary Subodh Singh, Chief Minister’s Secretary Dr. Basav Raju S., Commissioner Bastar Doman Singh, DIG Amit Kamle, Collector Nilesh Kshirsagar, Superintendent of Police Indra Kalyan Elesela and other public representatives and officials were present. In the program, the book “Nai Disha” prepared by the district administration for the preparation of youth competitive examination was released and distributed to the youth. Besides this, material, demo keys of houses, tricycles etc. were distributed to the beneficiaries of public welfare schemes of various departments.
