Chief Minister announced to organize health checkup camp on 8th March every year

Raipur, 08 March 2025: Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai today inaugurated the massive health checkup camp organized on the birth anniversary of late Kumar Dilip Singh Judev in memory of him at Balasaheb Deshpande Mahavidyalaya ground located at Saliatoli under Kunkuri in Jashpur district by offering flowers to Maa Saraswati, Bharat Mata, Chhattisgarhi Mahtari and the photograph of late Kumar Dilip Singh Judev. On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai announced to organize a massive health checkup camp on 8th March every year. Chief Minister Sai said that the Chhattisgarh government is constantly striving to expand health facilities in the state. Our goal is that the citizens of the state remain healthy and the state moves towards prosperity. Working with commitment in this direction, a provision has been made in this year’s budget to establish a medical college in Kunkuri. Also, it has been decided to open Government Nursing College and Government Physiotherapy College in Jashpur, which will significantly increase health services. Chief Minister Sai said that through these facilities, local citizens will get better treatment and they will not need to go to other cities for treatment. He urged the citizens present to take maximum advantage of the health camp. He said that if during the examination, any patient is detected with a serious illness, then the government has made arrangements for their proper treatment in Raipur.
Chief Minister Sai observed the counters of various specialist departments and while talking to the doctors, expressed his gratitude for their dedication and service. Specialist doctors of AIIMS Raipur are providing treatment It is worth mentioning that this camp has been organized by the district administration of Jashpur in collaboration with AIIMS Raipur. Specialist doctors of AIIMS in the fields of medicine, surgery, cancer, ENT, eye, bone, kidney, skin, gynecology and psychiatry are providing their services in the camp. Patients suffering from serious diseases found during examination in the camp will be referred to Raipur and provided treatment. Free medicines are also being provided in the camp. For the convenience of patients, 10 registration counters, 7 general OPD counters, 2 laboratory counters, general ward facilities along with separate counters of all specialist departments are available in the camp. Chief Minister Sai distributed Ayushman Cards and food baskets to TB patients. In the camp, Chief Minister Sai distributed Ayushman Cards and Vaya Vandana Cards to Sundar Yadav, Sunita Bai, Bhagwati Singh, Francis Tigga, Placidius Kerketta, Khilaso Bai under Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. Food baskets were also distributed to 10 TB patients under Pradhan Mantri TB Free Bharat Abhiyan.

S. Jatra was honored for his significant contribution in Prime Minister’s TB Free India Campaign by providing nutritional support to TB patients, DDM Niranjan Prasad Gupta was honored for his significant contribution in Prime Minister’s TB Free India Campaign by taking responsibility of all the TB patients of Specially Backward Tribe (PVTG) Pahadi Korwa and Birhor community of Jashpur district and providing them nutritional support, and Bharat Ratnam Khute was honored for his significant contribution in Prime Minister’s TB Free India Campaign by providing nutritional support to TB patients. On this occasion, MLA and Vice President Surguja Area Tribal Development Authority Smt. Gomti Sai, MLA Smt. Raimuni Bhagat, Commissioner Narendra Kumar Dugga, IG Ankit Garg, District Panchayat members Shaurya Pratap Singh Judeo, Prabal Pratap Singh Judeo, Krishna Rai, Rajesh Kumar Gupta and other officers and employees of Health Department were present.
