Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai expressed serious concern over the incident related to the daughters of Narayanpur – said, “Safety of women is paramount, law will take impartial action”

Raipur, 28 July 2025: Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has expressed serious concern over the incident related to the three daughters of Narayanpur. This matter came to light when these daughters were being taken to Agra through two nuns at Durg railway station by luring them with nursing training and jobs. Chief Minister Sai said that according to preliminary information, there is a possibility of human trafficking and conversion in this case, which is a serious issue affecting the safety of women and social fabric. He informed that the investigation of the case is going on and it is in the judicial process. The government is working with complete transparency and sensitivity, and the law will take a decision according to its process. The Chief Minister clarified that Chhattisgarh is a peace-loving and inclusive state where people of all religions and communities live in mutual harmony. Chief Minister Sai said that our government gives top priority to the safety and respect of women. It is unfortunate to politicize the issue related to our daughters of Bastar. He said that such incidents should be avoided from being given a political colour, especially when it comes to the safety of our daughters of Bastar.
