Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai released the annual calendar of the Cooperative Department

An important step towards “Sahkar se Samriddhi”
Raipur, 3 March 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today released the annual calendar based on the activities of the Cooperative Department at the Secretariat. Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, Vijay Sharma, Cooperative Minister Kedar Kashyap and all the Cabinet Ministers were present on the occasion. Chief Minister Sai congratulated the officials of the Cooperative Department on this occasion and said that this calendar based on the motto of “Sahkar se Samriddhi” is a symbol of the innovations and achievements being made by the State Government in the field of cooperatives. He said that the participation of cooperatives in public welfare schemes will take Chhattisgarh to new dimensions of prosperity and development. Cooperatives recognized at the international level Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that the year 2025 has been declared as the ‘International Year of Cooperatives’ by the United Nations. In this context, various activities are being organized across Chhattisgarh under the “Sahkar se Samriddhi” campaign by the Ministry of Cooperatives, Government of India.
Schemes and action plans included in the annual calendar Various activities conducted at village, district and state level have been included in this annual calendar of the Cooperative Department. These activities include expansion of paddy procurement and storage process, establishment of Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Store and Common Service Center, construction of new warehouses for large foodgrains storage at the global level, providing ATM cards to farmers and payment facility through micro ATM in PACS, registration and empowerment of new PACS Society, Dairy and Fisheries Cooperative Societies.
With the release of the annual calendar, the state government has taken another strong step to take Chhattisgarh forward in the direction of cooperative based economic development. Chief Minister Sai congratulated the Cooperative Department on this occasion and expressed hope that this initiative will make the cooperative system of the state more effective, transparent and profitable. Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Additional Chief Secretary Subrat Sahu, Cooperative Secretary Dr. C.R. Prasanna, Commissioner Cooperative and Registrar Cooperative Societies Kuldeep Sharma, Additional Commissioner Cooperative and Managing Director Apex Bank L. Other senior officers of the department including Kande were also present. Apart from this, many dignitaries of the department including Assistant Registrar Manish Khobragade, Apex Bank Manager Abhishek Tiwari, Accounts Officer Prabhakar Kant Yadav were present on the occasion.
