Raipur, 15 April 2025: Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai today launched the state-wide More Dwar-Sai Sarkar Mahabhiyan for Awas Plus 2.0 survey under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin from village Ghatpadampur in Bastar district. During this, the Chief Minister himself visited the homes of many beneficiaries of Ghatpadampur and conducted the survey. There was great enthusiasm among the villagers when the Chief Minister reached the village. The Chief Minister said that the objective of the government is to provide pucca and safe houses to every eligible rural family. He said that the survey work will be completed in a timely and transparent manner, so that every needy gets the benefit of the scheme. It is worth noting that a 15-day Mor Dwar-Sai Sarkar Mahabhiyan has been started on the special initiative of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai for the survey under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin Awas Plus 2.0. This campaign will run till 30 April. The objective of Mor Dwar-Sai Sarkar Mahabhiyan is to identify such rural families of Chhattisgarh, who have not yet got a permanent house under any housing scheme. They have to be provided the facility of permanent housing. In this Mahabhiyan, the survey work of the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Plus 2.0 will be completed in every village of the state, so that the approval and construction work of the house can be done under the scheme. This Mahabhiyan will be conducted in three phases. In the first phase, between 15 and 19 April, they are being organized at the district and block level. In the second phase, from 20 to 28 April, Gram Sabhas will be organized in all the villages and door-to-door survey of eligible families will be done. In the third phase, on 29th and 30th April, all the surveys will be confirmed, approved and verified by the Gram Sabha and the final report will be prepared and sent to the state office.
Chief Minister Sai, while talking to the beneficiaries in a program organized in village Ghatpadampur, enquired about the condition of their houses and expressed satisfaction on seeing the newly constructed houses. While directly communicating with the villagers, he also said that it is the responsibility of the government that no family should remain without a pucca house. He also clarified that all the eligible families that come forward through the survey will be included in the scheme as soon as possible. Chief Minister conducted a survey of eligible families When Chief Minister Sai reached the house of beneficiary Smt. Shilomani Kashyap and Smt. Karuna Kashyap, the family members gave him a traditional and warm welcome. Shilomani Kashyap told that there are a total of five members in her family, husband Harisingh, son Abhinav who studies in 9th class, daughter Anupriya (8th class) and younger son Abhishek who is in 3rd class. She said that her family had been dreaming of a pucca house for years, which now seems to be getting fulfilled under this scheme. Chief Minister Sai also surveyed the house of another beneficiary of the village, Smt. Ludri Kashyap. He himself conducted the survey through the ‘Awas Plus 2024 (2.0)’ mobile application. During this, Ludri Kashyap got emotional and said that she had dreamed of a pucca house for years, today it seems to be coming true. This is a very emotional moment for me. Ludri Kashyap also shared that during the rainy season, she used to be worried about the fear of snakes in the kutcha house and the expenses on the repair of the house. She said that now with this scheme she will get relief from all these problems.
Mrs. Ludri Kashyap told that her husband Manbodh Kashyap, daughter-in-law Mrs. Karuna Kashyap, son Ishwar Kashyap and grandson live with her. Ludri Kashyap said that her entire family is dependent on wages and due to limited income, construction of a pucca house was not possible. Thanking the Chief Minister, she said that now her dream of a safe and permanent pucca house will soon be fulfilled. The total population of Gram Panchayat Ghatpadampur is 2,078, in which currently 583 families reside. In this Panchayat, under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 11 families were approved for housing on the basis of permanent waiting list, whose houses have been constructed. Mahtari Vandan Yojana became a support. Rural women told Chief Minister Sai that they are also getting the benefit of Mahtari Vandan Yojana of the state government. They are getting financial assistance from this scheme, due to which they are able to save some money for their daily expenses as well as for the education and future of their children. Deputy Chief Minister Sharma said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a clear goal that every citizen of the country should get the right to live a respectable life, in which a permanent house is a basic necessity. He said that the Chhattisgarh government is working with the resolve that no eligible citizen should be deprived of the government schemes. He also informed that a target has been set to construct a total of 11,50,315 houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin for 2024-25 in the state, out of which 9,41,595 houses have already been approved. Of these, 1,78,476 houses have been fully constructed and the rest are under construction. So far, a total of 3,59,037 beneficiaries have got housing. He said that using digital means especially, the beneficiaries themselves will also be able to upload their information through mobile app. To make this process more transparent and simple, GRIH portal has also been developed by the state government. On this occasion, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, MP Mahesh Kashyap, MLA Jagdalpur Kiran Dev, MLA Chitrakoot Vinayak Goyal, Mayor of Municipal Corporation Jagdalpur Sanjay Pandey, along with many public representatives and a large number of villagers were present.
