Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai attended the annual conference of Agharia Samaj Seva Samiti

Active participation of every citizen is necessary in the creation of developed Chhattisgarh – Chief Minister

Raipur 27 April 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that the history of Agharia community is very glorious, whose roots are connected to the depths of Indian civilization. He called upon the Agharia community to contribute with its full potential in the creation of developed Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Sai today attended the annual Sneh Sammelan of Agharia Samaj Seva Samiti organized at Bhatagaon in the capital Raipur as the chief guest and addressed the program. On this occasion, the representatives of the Agharia community gave a warm welcome to the Chief Minister by garlanding him with Gajmala. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, while remembering his friend of Agharia community, late Vishnu Patel, said that he has a personal connection with the Agharia community. He said that in his long experience of social life, he has closely seen and understood the hard work, dedication and commitment of the Agharia community. The Chief Minister said that the hardworking Agharia community has achieved remarkable achievements in many other fields along with its core occupation agriculture. A lot can be learned from their contribution in the agriculture sector. Today, the progressive Agharia community is playing an active role in various fields in the development of the nation.

Chief Minister Sai said that the Chhattisgarh government is continuously working for the progress of the state. Carrying forward the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in the last 15 months, the state government has worked to fulfill most of the guarantees of Prime Minister Modi. He said that to take Chhattisgarh to new heights of development, total eradication of Naxalism is necessary. The double engine government is fighting a decisive battle for the eradication of Naxalism. Chief Minister Sai said that under the industrial policy of the state, investment proposals worth more than Rs 4.5 lakh crore have been received so far. Special provisions have been made in areas like animal husbandry, milk production to double the income of farmers. He said that the government’s goal is to turn agriculture into a profitable business. He also shared information about Ramlala Darshan Yojana, Chief Minister Teerth Darshan Yojana and special focused schemes for Bastar and Surguja region.

Chief Minister Sai said that the government is working on the policy of zero tolerance against corruption. A separate department has been created for good governance and the functioning has been made transparent by implementing the e-office system. He said that active participation of every citizen is necessary in the creation of developed Chhattisgarh and all the residents of the state should play their important role. Finance Minister O P Choudhary said in his address that the hard work, dedication and commitment of the Agharia community needs no introduction. The organized society plays a very important role in nation building. He said that the Agharia community has played a leading role in the field of agriculture as well as education. Choudhary said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the goal of developed India by 2047 has been set, to achieve which the youth will have to pay special attention to capacity building. He called upon the youth to set their goals and work hard continuously. He said that the greater our risk-taking ability, the better we will be able to face the challenges of the time. Finance Minister Choudhary, while emphasizing on the education of daughters, said that educating daughters is the task of shaping the future of the entire generation. MP Mrs. Roopkumari Choudhary, MLAs Motilal Sahu, Purandar Mishra, Sunil Soni and National President of Agharia community Mrs. Usha Patel also addressed the gathering. On this occasion, intellectuals of the society including Ranjan Patel, Dr. Devendra Nayak and a large number of dignitaries of Agharia community were present.
