Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, continuous work is being done in the direction of women empowerment in the country and Madhya Pradesh. Sisters are being given 50% reservation in the elections of local bodies. Prime Minister Shri Modi also decided to give 33 percent reservation to sisters in Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha. On Saturday, an amount of Rs 1897 crore has been transferred to the accounts of 1.29 crore Ladli sisters of the state from Vijaypur in Sheopur district with a single click. In this, in addition to Rs 1250 of Ladli Behna Yojana amount, an amount of Rs 250 is Chief Minister Bhaiya’s gift to Ladli sisters on the occasion of Rakshabandhan. Along with this, a grant amount of Rs 52 crore has also been transferred to the sisters under the Ujjwala Yojana. A loan amount of Rs 10 thousand 300 crore has been distributed to the sisters of self-help groups for various self-employment activities. These sisters are becoming self-reliant by manufacturing various types of products and are making records. Today, Kumbh of sisters has been organized in Vijaypur. Programs are being held at 25 thousand places across the state today. A large number of sisters were present in the conference. This is a big example of women empowerment.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Self-Help Group Conference and Rakshabandhan program in Vijaypur of Sheopur district on Saturday. The Chief Minister performed Bhoomi Pujan and inauguration of 158 works worth Rs 344 crore. Along with this, benefits of other schemes including Ladli Laxmi were distributed to the sisters. He announced to make Veerpur and Karahal tehsils of Sheopur district as Nagar Panchayat and gave many gifts for area development.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that mother and sisters are the beauty, joy and dignity of the house. The relationship of Rakhi-thread is bigger than all relationships. The festival of Rakshabandhan in the month of Sawan is the king of festivals. The joy of celebrating festivals collectively is something else. Today the whole of Madhya Pradesh is celebrating the festival together. On the day of Rakshabandhan on 19th August, when sisters will apply tilak on the forehead of their brothers, it will seem as if Madhya Pradesh has got a tilak on its forehead. This will make the state proud. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, a door-to-door tricolor campaign is being run in the country. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav called upon everyone to join this campaign.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, the country and the state are developing at a fast pace. Earlier, the budget of Madhya Pradesh used to be only 20 thousand crores, which has now increased to three and a half lakh crores, in the next 5 years it will become 7 lakh crores.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the Nadi Jodo Abhiyan, a campaign is being run to connect Chambal, Kalisindh and Parvati rivers in this region. This will provide adequate supply of irrigation, water and electricity in the region. Soon Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh are going to perform Bhoomi Pujan for new works worth 70 thousand crores. Farmers of this region should take care of their farming land. In the coming time, this region will leave Punjab-Haryana behind in agricultural production. Milk production and animal husbandry are also being promoted in the state. The government will now give bonus on milk production as well.
Assembly Speaker Shri Narendra Singh Tomar said that the state is developing at a fast pace under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. Vijaypur region, rich in forest wealth, has got a cabinet minister for the first time. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has made big announcements for the development of this area. Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Minister Shri Prahlad Patel said that today a large number of Ladli sisters along with the sisters of the self-help group have participated in the Rakshabandhan program here. I welcome all the sisters and salute them. The sisters of the self-help group in Madhya Pradesh have done unique work. There are more than 5 lakh self-help groups in 49 thousand villages of the state, with which about 62 lakh families are associated.
Forest and Environment Minister Shri Ramniwas Rawat said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has made several important announcements for the development of this region. A campaign is being run in the state for cow protection and cow development. Karahal region is famous for Gir cows. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has announced to give grant money to milk producers. A plan has been made to give grants to any person who rears more than 10 cows in the state, just like cow shelters. All those places in the state where there are signs of Lord Krishna are being developed. A large number of revenue cases were resolved in the revenue campaign recently. Minister Shri Rawat placed various demands before the Chief Minister for the development of the region, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav assured to do all of them after testing.
Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development Minister Shri Aidal Singh Kanshana said that there has been a demand for development in this region for years, which has been fulfilled by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. Now this area will develop at a fast pace. MP Shri Shivmangal Singh Tomar also addressed.
