Chief Minister Dr. Yadav participated in the Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan by cleaning the ghats of Maa Kshipra

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav cleaned the ghats at Ram Ghat of Ujjain Kshipra under Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav got into the Kshipra river and cleaned the ghats. He took bath in Kshipra after cleaning. He prayed to Mother Kshipra and took her blessings. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan is a special campaign to revive the old historical water sources of our state. In this, work is also being done to make the rivers flow again. The origin of Betwa river near Bhopal has been revived, the specialty of this campaign is that we are reviving our historical, old stepwells, wells, ponds, water sources.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in the country and in the entire world, Maa Narmada of our Madhya Pradesh is such a river whose Parikrama is done. Madhya Pradesh government will make convenient arrangements for the pilgrims by organizing the Parikrama Sthal of Narmada River and 29 kilometers more ghats of Maa Kshipra are being built, which will also facilitate the pilgrims doing the Parikrama of Maa Kshipra. Silarkhedi Sevarkhedi Reservoir Scheme is also going on to make Maa Kshipra flowing in Ujjain, Khan Diversion River Project is also going on to maintain the cleanliness of Maa Kshipra. Almost 50% of its work has been completed, in the coming 2 years, Maa Kshipra will flow with a gurgling sound, with this resolution we are moving ahead.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Ujjain has been a major centre of time calculation along with being a historical mythological city. Akbar, Shahjahan, Jahangir also stayed in Ujjain and reached Bharthari cave and understood the knowledge of time calculation. They also established a mint here. It is not only a historical and religious city but also a scientific city. We are constantly trying to restore its glory. Many types of authentic works have been done for Ujjain by King Bharthari, Emperor Vikramaditya, Emperor Ashoka as well as other great kings. Shrimant Mahad ji Scindia restored its glory after the battle of Panipat and hoisted the flag on the Red Fort. The land of Ujjain is still singing the praises of all these great kings.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav felicitated the Panchkosi Yatris who had come from Salamatpur and inaugurated their journey and also felicitated the Swachhata Mitras of the Municipal Corporation.

On this occasion, MLA Mr Anil Jain Kaluhera, Municipal Corporation Chairperson Mrs Kalavati Yadav, Municipal Corporation Mayor Mr Mukesh Tatwal, Mr Sanjay Agarwal and public representatives and divisional commissioner Mr Sanjay Gupta, IG Mr Umesh Joga, Collector Mr Roshan Kumar Singh and Superintendent of Police Mr Pradeep Kumar Sharma were also present. Chief Minister Dr Yadav has congratulated Mahakal police station on getting the ISO certificate.
