Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated garment factory in Ujjain

Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has given a very big gift to the state and Ujjain on Sunday. He inaugurated another new unit of textile and apparel sector M/s Pratibha Swaraj Pvt. Ltd. in village Ninora of Ujjain. This unit will play an important role in the direction of women empowerment along with industrial development. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visited the unit and observed the modern machines and discussed with the women employees.

M/s Pratibha Swaraj Pvt. Ltd. has been allotted 18.5 acres of land in village Navakheda alias Karadia by Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation for the manufacture of textile and apparel. An investment of about Rs 85 crore has been made by the unit on this, which will reach Rs 145 crore by March 2025. Apart from this, M/s Pratibha Swaraj Pvt. Ltd. has also prepared a project for additional investment of Rs 200 crore in the coming financial year.

This garment unit will provide direct employment opportunities to more than 3500 local people in the district. More than 80 percent of the population will be women, which will empower women as well as contribute significantly to the economic development of the region.

During the program, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the seamless knitting machine installed by M/s Pratibha Swaraj Pvt. Ltd. Seamless clothes such as swimwear, yoga wear, night wear, medical wear, etc. based on the standards of Industry 4.0 will be manufactured by the unit for various categories.
