Char Dham Yatra 2025: Online Registration Begins Today

The online registration for the world-famous Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand has officially started today. Pilgrims can register through the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Council’s official website. The yatra is set to begin on April 30, 2025. The first two temples, Gangotri and Yamunotri, will open on April 30, followed by Kedarnath on May 2 and Badrinath on May 4. Additionally, the Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara will open on May 25. Registration is mandatory for the yatra, and an Aadhaar card is required to complete the process. Pilgrims can register online at registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in using their Aadhaar card. This year, 60% of registrations will be done online, while 40% will be conducted offline. Also, the VIP darshan fee has been removed. To ease the process, the number of registration centers in Haridwar, Rishikesh, and along the yatra routes will be increased. During the first 15 days of the yatra, these centers will remain open 24/7.

Enhanced Facilities & Security Measures

Considering the heavy footfall of pilgrims, additional check posts will be set up this year in Vikasnagar, Dehradun, apart from Haridwar and Rishikesh. Vehicles traveling for the yatra will be checked at Katapathar and Herbertpur bus stand. Also, offline registration may now be available at the Herbertpur bus stand, which was not included in the previous years’ yatra routes.

✔ Collect your darshan token for temple visits.
✔ Senior citizens should get a health check-up before traveling.
✔ Enter correct details during registration to avoid issues.
✔ For helicopter services, book tickets only through the official website: heliyatra.irctc.co.in.
✔ Avoid dealing with unauthorized agents for bookings. Always book your tickets from official sources.
