CG NEWS : Women doing excellent work honored

Raipur. Shakti Vandan events for empowerment of women self-help groups were organized assembly-wise at Virbhadra Nagar Community Building in Raipur South Assembly, Patidar Bhawan in Raipur North Assembly, Devendra Nagar and Corporation Zone 7 office building for Raipur West Assembly. In the event, Culture, School Education, Higher Education Minister Brijmohan Agarwal in Raipur South Assembly, North MLA Purandar Mishra in Raipur North Assembly, as per the orders of the MLA for Raipur West Assembly, former Municipal Corporation Chairman Prafulla Vishwakarma, former councilor Omkar Bais met Corporation Leader of Opposition Meenal. Choubey, Deputy Leader of Opposition Manoj Verma, Corporation MIC member Ritesh Tripathi, former Chairman Sanjay Srivastava, Councilor Mrityunjay Dubey, Kunwar Rajyant Singh Dhruv, Bholaram Sahu, Deepak Jaiswal, Sarita Akash Dubey, social worker Kishore Mahanand along with dignitaries and women of women self-help groups. He was honored by giving him a bouquet for his excellent work. NULM and officials of various departments gave women brief information about various schemes run by the Central Government and Chhattisgarh Government for the welfare of women. Public representatives benefited women from the platform under various schemes. Minister Brijmohan Aggarwal, North MLA Purandar Mishra, Leader of Opposition Meenal Choubey, Deputy Leader of Opposition Manoj Verma, Padma Bharti brothers, councilors, former chairman, former councilors described it as an honor to women power and asked women to take maximum advantage of Mahtari Vandan Yojana of Chhattisgarh state.
