Cg news: Awareness program on cervical cancer in ITM University

Raipur. ITM University Raipur in collaboration with Young India-Confederation of Indian Industry (YiCII) organized a special awareness program “Let’s Learn about Cervical Cancer” at its University Campus, Naya Raipur to bring awareness among girl students about Cervical Cancer. As the speaker of this session, Ms. Sudeshna Ruhan, Founder of Niramaya: Cancer Foundation, gave detailed information to the students and female professors about the symptoms, causes, prevention and treatment of cervical cancer. In this program, girl students asked many questions related to personal health safety and hygiene and had a long discussion on prevention steps.
In the concluding session, Program Coordinator Mohammad Faisal Khan expressed his gratitude to Speaker Ruhan, Young India-CII Team Member Kavit Pasari, Pooja and Director General, ITM University, Ms. Lakshmi Murthy for their constant inspiration and guidance. He said that ITM University has been committed to organize various awareness programs for the students with a focus on promoting public awareness and women empowerment.
