CG News: Attachment and sealing proceedings started in Birgaon

Raipur. In Ward 36 Birgaon, Chhattisgarh Polypackers (Mahesh Sachdev, Sonam Sachdev) whose tax was outstanding since 2015-16, after duly giving demand bill and notice, today the revenue team of the corporation reached to seal it under the leadership of Commissioner Brijesh Singh Kshatriya. During spot inspection, it was found that the corporation tax of the concerned person was outstanding and the godown was being operated on rent. In such a situation, the Commissioner directed his revenue employees to take immediate sealing action. The commissioner asked to pay the tax on the spot otherwise it was said that it would be sealed. After the order of the Commissioner, a check amounting to Rs 13 lakh was immediately paid on the spot by the concerned taxpayer.

Similarly, in the coming days, the Commissioner will take sealing action against about 100 defaulters.
