International Conference on Innovative Educational Strategies: “NEP 2020 – Chhattisgarh and beyond” organised by Kalinga University

Kalinga University, Raipur successfully organized the ICSSR sponsored International Conference on Innovative Educational Strategies, NEP 2020: Chhattisgarh and Beyond on 21-22 January 2025, which was a landmark event aimed at discussing the future of education under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The conference brought together eminent educationists, experts and thinkers from various countries to provide a platform for in-depth discussions on educational strategies and their implications for Chhattisgarh and beyond. The event was attended by a large number of participants from India and abroad and proved to be an important opportunity for exchange of knowledge, ideas and experiences. The conference commenced with an inspiring inaugural address by Shri R. Prasanna, I.A.S. Secretary, Higher Education, Government of Chhattisgarh, whose views guided the discussions. Eminent resource persons made significant contributions to the event, including Prof. Anurag Shrivastava (Indore) who discussed various aspects of NEP 2020, Prof. Rajeev Chaudhary (Pandit, Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur) shared his views on Sustainable Development Goals, Prof. Nitin Mangawade (Symbiosis, Nagpur) presented an in-depth analysis on NEP 2020, and Prof. Anuj Kumar, Dr. Nishu Ayedi (New Delhi), and Prof. Haipeng Liu (China) shared their views online.
The sessions were ably moderated by the session chairs, whose expertise made the discussions even more interesting and thought-provoking. The closing session of the conference was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Dr. Aruna Palta, former Vice Chancellor, Hemchand Yadav University, Durg, whose inspiring words left a deep impression on all the participants.
