Kalinga University celebrated the spirit of togetherness and harmony with the Holi Milan Utsav held at its picturesque campus on Saturday. The event witnessed Kalinga staff members enthusiastically enjoying the colors of Holi which symbolizes the arrival of spring.
The Holi Milan Utsav organized by the Dean of Student Welfare and his team, Kalinga University aims to promote the spirit of unity, harmony and cultural exchange among the staff. It provided a platform for individuals from different backgrounds to come together and celebrate the rich colors of Indian culture.
The attendees participated in traditional Holi rituals with colors. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and joy as the participants danced to the rhythm of traditional folk music, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Dr. Sandeep Gandhi, Registrar, Kalinga University, expressed happiness over the huge turnout and spirit of inclusivity displayed at the event. He commented, “Holi Milan Mahotsav is not just a celebration of colours, but also our diversity and unity. It is heartening to see our faculty and staff embrace each other’s differences and celebrate as a community. Let’s come together for.”
The participants danced to the tune of Holi songs and enjoyed the colorful program. Traditional dishes including Gujhiya, Thandai and other festive delicacies added to the gastronomic delight of the festivities.
As the sun set over the horizon, marking the end of the festivities, the participants left with hearts full of happiness and memories that will last a lifetime.
