Candidates from BJP and Congress Seek Blessings Ahead of Uttarakhand Municipal Elections

Uttarakhand Municipal Elections : In the Uttarakhand municipal elections, BJP candidate Saurabh Thapliyal and Congress candidate Virendra Pokhariyal visited Darbar Sahib to seek blessings. Both candidates met with Shri Mahant Devendra Das to pay their respects and receive his blessings. In Dehradun, the candidates for the mayoral positions from both parties are actively campaigning and also looking for divine support for their victory. On Thursday, Saurabh Thapliyal from the BJP and Virendra Pokhariyal from Congress visited Darbar Sahib, where they offered their prayers and met with Shri Mahant Devendra Das.

During their visit, the two candidates bumped into each other, exchanged good wishes, and even shared a warm hug. Throughout the day, they spent time strategizing with their party leaders and workers. There was a noticeable gathering of supporters at both candidates’ residences as they discussed their campaign plans. After seeking blessings at Darbar Sahib, BJP’s mayoral candidate Saurabh Thapliyal met with several senior party leaders, including prominent figures like Jot Singh Bisht, Vinay Goyal, and former opposition leader Ashok Kumar. Additionally, he engaged in discussions with local MLAs such as Khajan Das from Rajpur Road and Vinod Chamoli from Dharmapur, as well as senior BJP leader R.P. Raturi.
