DEHRADUN: A deeply disturbing case has come to light from Dehradun, the state capital. A man allegedly inserted a sharp object into his wife’s private parts, causing serious injuries to her intestines. The incident reportedly happened on March 31. Following a complaint filed by the woman’s sister, police have registered a case against the accused.

The shocking incident took place in the Patel Nagar area of Dehradun. As per the information received, the victim’s sister told police that the couple used to fight quite often. On the night of the incident, the woman was sleeping at home with her children. Around 3 a.m., the victim’s 11-year-old daughter called her aunt in a panic. She said that when she woke up, she saw her mother writhing in pain, bleeding heavily from her lower body — and her father was nowhere to be found.
Mixed intoxicant in cold drink before the horrific act
The injured woman was rushed to the hospital for treatment, where doctors found that her intestines had been seriously damaged. She is currently undergoing treatment. It was the 11-year-old daughter who informed her aunt about what had happened. Acting on her complaint, police filed an FIR against the husband. The daughter also revealed a chilling detail: her father had served cold drinks to everyone in the house that evening but didn’t drink any himself. Later it was suspected that he had mixed some intoxicating substance in the drinks. After the family members lost consciousness or became drowsy, he carried out the horrific act.
