“Badrinath-Kedarnath slots are full, now what is your option in Chardham Yatra?”

If you are planning to go on the Char Dham Yatra, then this information is very important for you. All the slots for online registration for Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham in the month of May have been filled. However, online registration can still be done for Gangotri and Yamunotri. If you are planning to go to Kedarnath or Badrinath and you have not been able to register yet, then do not worry – now the option of offline registration is available. For this, registration counters will be opened from 7 am on April 28. A total of 65 registration counters have been set up in Haridwar, Rishikesh, Vikasnagar and Herbertpur. In this, 30 counters will be set up in Rishikesh, 20 in Haridwar and 15 in Herbertpur. The devotees who are traveling in groups will be registered where they are staying. This time 60% registrations will be done online and 40% offline in the Yatra. So far more than 20 lakh people have registered online.
So far, 6.82 lakh pilgrims have registered for Kedarnath, 6.01 lakh for Badrinath, 3.55 lakh for Gangotri, 3.24 lakh for Yamunotri and 34,633 for Hemkund Sahib. This time, 60 percent of the registrations are being done under the Aadhar card related system in online registration. But in view of the shortage of slots, the state government has increased the limit of online registration by 10%. For those pilgrims who have not been able to get online slots in May, offline registration is now the only option, which will start from 7 am on April 28. Chardham Yatra is going to start from April 30. The doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri will open on April 30, Kedarnath on May 2 and Badrinath on May 4. This time the most enthusiasm is being seen for the journey of Kedarnath and Badrinath. All the online slots for the month of May for these two Dhams have already been filled. However, keeping in mind the convenience of the pilgrims, the government has tried to provide relief by increasing the number of online registrations.
