Awareness of Basic Life Support is necessary in remote areas: Governor Patel
Bhopal. Governor Mangubhai Patel said that the first hour i.e. golden hour is very important in emergency medicine. During this period, many people can get life by quick and accurate medical assistance. Therefore, awareness of basic life support is necessary in remote rural areas. Health workers should also be updated with the latest protocols of emergency medicine. Governor Shri Patel was addressing the closing ceremony of the 20th National Conference of Emergency Medicine.
Governor Shri Patel congratulated AIIMS and the organizers for making emergency medical services effective and medical innovations. He said that the nectar of solutions and suggestions for the betterment of emergency medicine that has emerged from the brainstorming of scholars and experts in the conference, try to share it with the society as much as possible.
Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel said that healthcare, especially emergency healthcare, is a challenge for a country with a huge population like India. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, efforts are being made on a large scale to solve the challenges of emergency health care. Services like Advanced Life Support, Basic Life Support, Ambulance etc. are being improved. The state government is also working towards establishing new centers of emergency medical service and state-of-the-art medical service.
Cyclothon is an effective medium of public awareness
Governor Shri Patel said that cyclothon is an effective medium to make people aware in emergency situations. He appreciated this initiative of AIIMS Bhopal. Governor Shri Patel expressed hope that the organization of cyclothon will be successful in spreading positivity in the society towards emergency medicine. Along with this, M India-2024 will also prove to be a milestone in the field of emergency medicine.
MP Bhopal Shri Alok Sharma congratulated AIIMS Bhopal for organizing an event based on basic life support and efforts for public awareness of life saving.
